This marks the biggest Market Place in London.
Food halls are proving popular in London. FACT Dining Awards London 2025 held its inaugural event at ARCADE in Battersea Power Station, and the first halal food court in London opened with The Food District. Now, Market Place has announced that its latest location will be in Leicester Square.
You can already find Market Place across the capital in St Paul’s, Peckham and Vauxhall. Plus, new branches are coming soon to Baker Street and Manchester. Market Place is calling its upcoming Leicester Square venue London’s largest food hall – and we’re buzzing with excitement.

Market Place Leicester Square will house sixteen kitchens across multiple floors. The team has taken over the former Salt Burger bar premises and will design the space in a style similar to other locations. While the specific stalls haven't been confirmed yet, they will likely follow the same format as the company’s existing food halls.
The concept brings together cuisines from around the world. Beyond the food, the venue will also feature three bars, screens for showing sporting events and hosting live entertainment. If you can’t wait for the new opening, then check out one of the existing spots.
The Harrow one offers nine street food vendors and a bar. The Peckham one is dog-friendly and offers remote working. As for St Paul's, it is home to nine food vendors, two bars and pool tables. Plus, Vauxhall is home to 12 vendors and a bar.
