Located in Mayfair, it has been founded by a Turkish chocolatier family.

The new high-end patisserie Naya is opening in March on North Audley Street, Mayfair. Founded by brothers Can and Cengizhan Ayan, fourth generation from the esteemed Turkish chocolatier, Pelit, the patisserie combines their family’s heritage and legacy with classic British charm.

Since ‘Naya’ translates to ‘fresh’ or ‘new’ in numerous languages, the patisserie will appropriately offer a variety of both traditional and contemporary desserts to cater to a wide range of clientele. Reinventing the concept of conventional London patisseries sets Naya apart, providing a unique and diverse experience for guests.

Can Ayan, said: “Our family started in the chocolate business back in 1957, so opening Naya in London felt like a calling for my brother and I. We wanted to create an experience that bridges the old and the new, showcasing our rich family traditions, whilst sparking curiosity with modern elements. We are delighted to bring this new concept to London, using the recipes that have been passed down through our family for generations.”

The menu will include exceptional dishes such as finely crafted chocolates, Naya’s signature Chocolate Eclairs, Creamy Basque Cheesecake, and comforting flavours like Magnolia Pudding. Savoury options include Bresaola Sandwiches and Lobster Rolls, and drinks will range from barista brewed coffee to French and Italian wines.

British design house de Gournay features heavily in this space, with the walls covered in bespoke, hand painted scenes custom-made for Naya. Warmer tones and soft fabrics will create a comfortable environment, combined with a grand tree in the centre of the room for a touch of drama.

Naya has been led by the Creative Director, India Hicks, and Interior Designer, Anna Goulandris. India explained:“Naya is a project I am incredibly proud to be a part of. We have designed a space that brings together the essence of British opulence and international flair for the discerning and well-travelled guests, friends and family who will come through these doors."
