The Nicolas Rouzaud patisserie will open in the winter.
Burlington Arcade is home to exciting brands from around the world. Now, it is set to welcome the French chef Nicolas Rouzaud, who is opening LE CAFÉ by Nicolas Rouzaud. Located in Piccadilly, it will showcase world-class pastries and is due to open this winter.
Nicolas hails from Paris, France, and is one of Europe’s most fêted master pâtissiers. He combines French culinary craft with nostalgia, reworking traditional pâtisserie into pieces of edible art. He has venues at The Connaught in London and the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar in Doha. Plus, he will be opening a pâtisserie in France.
On Instagram, Nicolas shared a video of the store's exterior. The sleek spot currently features a red-hot façade with white lettering. He explained: “The news is finally out! My team and I are getting ready for our newest opening, Le Café, opening this winter in Burlington Arcade. We’re putting a fresh, playful twist on the pastries you already know and love, and I can’t wait to share it with you and take you along on the journey.”

The full list of treats at LE CAFÉ by Nicolas Rouzaud has not yet been announced. If you cannot wait, Nicolas offers seasonal treats. At The Connaught, he created limited-edition pecan tarts, which tie in with Thanksgiving. His Christmas treats include mince pies with jewel-like fruit, trio au chocolat with spices, yule logs in three chocolate-and-hazelnut varieties, and gingerbread lattes.
