Jul's will be located in St James's and open in 2026.

A new concept is making its way from Ibiza to London. Jul’s will open at Waterloo Place in St James's, London. The concept showcases Mediterranean cuisine and is scheduled to open in early 2026.

In 2018, the team launched Jul’s in Ibiza, followed by the opening of Humain in Athens. The team behind Jul’s is now setting its sights on St James's, aiming to create a standout dining destination in the capital.

Leading the kitchen is Chef Christos Fotos, who has teamed up with Jem Akyuz and his son Ilhan. The menu combines Greek and wider Mediterranean influences, blending the region’s traditional flavours with modern techniques. In Ibiza, the organic farm spanned more than two hectares and provided fresh, high-quality produce.

Sustainability and local sourcing remain at the heart of Jul’s, with the team working closely with farms around London. The menu aims to be fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour. The full menu has not yet been unveiled, but here’s what to expect. Dishes will include giouvetsi, flatbread with slow-cooked lamb, and grilled fish over an open fire.

Jul’s interior is sleek and sultry, with dim lighting and a wine wall stretching the length of the restaurant. The space will boast a period façade, high ceilings, and plenty of character. The late-night bar, No. 11, is located downstairs. Run by Vasilis Sgouromallis and Dimitris Karapanos, it will feature creative cocktails, distillations, and Mediterranean-inspired drinks.
