Londoners’ hearts have been won over by the viral Dubai chocolate bar – and the obsession is only growing. From supermarkets to bakeries, everyone is creating their own version of the chocolate bar. The original was created by FIX Dessert Chocolatier. Founder and CEO, British Egyptian Sarah Hamouda, is behind the chunky bar with Jackson Pollock-style specs, and a gorgeous, gooey filling. Can't Get Knafeh has launched a thousand copycats, and has more than 100 million views (and counting) on TikTok. Here's how to find the Dubai chocolate bar in London.

Birley Bakery

In the heart of Chelsea lies the iconic chocolate shop Birley. Coming in hot with six new Dubai-inspired chocolate bars, there’s something for everyone. Ranging from milk or dark chocolate, and three types of roasted nuts (pistachio, hazelnut and peanut) – all then topped with gooey caramelised strands of Kunafa. Black Tap

Up-and-coming burger spot Black Tap has gained quite a reputation for its Crazy Shakes, and now it has released the Dubai chocolate and pistachio version. It’s loaded up with an extra-thick vanilla shake, pistachio cream, whipped cream, a slice of pistachio and chocolate mousse cake, followed by a hefty hunk of Dubai Chocolate, ending with gooey chocolate drizzle and pistachio-kunafa crumb. Cutter & Squidge

In the middle of the bustling Soho, bakery Cutter & Squidge is joining in the trend with its own take – the Dubai biskie. A half-biscuit, half-cake creation is layered with pistachio and Kunafa ganache and slathered in chocolate buttercream. Delectable indeed. To top it all off, it’s glazed with green chocolate, gold crisp pearls and crushed pistachios.

Galaxy

For those who don’t want to trek around the city to find the latest version of the Dubai chocolate bar – look no further and visit your local supermarket to buy the Galaxy pistachio Kunafa chocolate bar. The limited-edition bar blend features a signature Galaxy chocolate with pistachio and a crispy Kunafa centre. A perfect blend for the Galaxy chocolate die-hard fans.

Luxury Swiss chocolate brand Läderach have created its own version, named ‘FrischSchoggi Dubai’. Lovingly hand-decorated with streaks of pistachio chocolate and made of all-natural ingredients, it comes in all sizes and can be found all over London from Westfield to Harrods.

Starting on Dragon’s Den, this Mayfair chocolate shop has taken the Dubai chocolate trend and run far with it.
