The concept can already be found in Notting Hill and Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.
Restaurants have long been making their way between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. Now, Mazi is expanding its portfolio, with venues in Abu Dhabi and London. The Greek restaurant has announced that it will open Mazi Mayfair in Bruton Place. The opening date has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.
Mazi is no stranger to London. In 2012, it first opened in Notting Hill. Adrien Carre and Christina Mouratoglou are behind the concept, which showcases refined Greek food. Mazi can also be found at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi.

Mazi draws its inspiration from traditional Greek dishes and aims to reimagine classic recipes with a modern twist. Mazi means together in Greek and celebrates the age-old Greek custom of sharing food. This spirit of togetherness lies at the heart of the concept, especially with the pretty sharing plates.
As Mazi makes its return to Mayfair, it appears to include a bar, countertop dining, and a large dining room. While the full menu has not yet been unveiled, the Notting Hill and Abu Dhabi menus are filled with delicious dishes. The dishes reflect the Aegean islands, Northern Greece and the Peloponnese.

The Notting Hill restaurant features Black Truffle Chicken, wild mushrooms, and Hunkar Begendi; Grilled Octopus, fava, and burnt onion broth; and Wild Cod, charred Greens, and leek fricassé. The Abu Dhabi restaurant includes Courgette Cakes, cucumber and dip; Moussaka, lamb mince, bechamel; and Whole Burnt Aubergine, halva paste.
