Plane Food Market is located in Heathrow Terminal 5.
British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has announced the opening of Plane Food Market at London Heathrow Airport. Scheduled to open Heathrow Terminal 5, it aims to raise the standard of airport food.
Located in one of the world’s busiest travel hubs, the venue brings together global flavours, fast service and high-quality food and drinks. In 2008, the first Plane Food opened with the aim of transforming airport dining. The new Plane Food Market builds on that ambition, combining some of the brand’s most popular international restaurant concepts into a market-style space.
Created with all kinds of passengers in mind – from solo flyers to business travellers – the space offers something for everyone. Guests can enjoy a pre-flight meal, drink at the bar, or grab something at the takeaway counter.
At the heart of Plane Food Market is a curated line-up of Gordon Ramsay’s brands. Lucky Cat serves Asian-inspired favourites including Bonito Fried Duck Leg Bao, GFC, and Spicy Tuna Rolls. Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips delivers Chips, Cod, and Shrimp with sauces ranging from curry and mango to sriracha aioli.
Street Burger features smash burgers, and Street Pizza includes Beef Short Rib Idiot Pizza. If you’re looking for heat, try the Hotter Than Hell Wings with fiery hot sauce. Plus, throughout the day, there is Butter Chicken Curry, Idiot Sandwich, and Full English Breakfast.
Gordon hails from Scotland, United Kingdom. He has restaurants across the world, including Dubai, Hong Kong and Las Vegas. He is famous for his cocky, controversial personality on TV shows ranging from Hell’s Kitchen to The F Word. Profanity aside, he is an award-winning chef, and his restaurants currently hold seven MICHELIN Stars.
