A taste of Istanbul is coming to the capital. The renowned Turkish restaurant, Kebapci Iskender is opening in London. Set to open this summer, it will be located in Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge.
Founded in 1867, Kebapci Iskender has been a family-run business for generations. The restaurant can be found across Türkiye in Bursa and Istanbul. Now, it will be opening in the heart of Knightsbridge, and a short stroll to the world-famous department store, Harrods.
While the full menu for the new branch of Kebapci Iskender in London has not yet been revealed, the Turkish menus are filled with tasty treats. The brand takes pride in its fresh meat cuts. The signature dishes include the iskender kebab, which combines a pide with tomato sauce and lamb doner, which is served with roasted aubergine and yoghurt.

Kebapci Iskender also offers a range of desserts. Mustafakemalpaşa is named after the Turkish district and includes a cookie made from grated cheese, buckwheat flour, and eggs. Plus, there is the Bursa Chestnut Candy and Milky Velvet.
The design for Kebapci Iskender in London has not been unveiled. In the Turkish branches, it boasts a clean, contemporary vibe. The walls include pictures of the family, from black and white photos to present-day shots.

If you’re a fan of Turkish food and drink, London has welcomed a range of new concepts. Kronotop will make its debut in the United Kingdom, serving Turkish coffee on Mortimer Street in Fitzrovia. Plus, Hafiz Mustafa 1864 opened in Knightsbridge, offering Turkish coffee, baklava and more.
