The popular pizza place will be opening in London.
BLU Pizzeriá is making its way from the United Arab Emirates to London in the United Kingdom. The brand already has popular locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and now it's setting its sights on the UK capital.
Emirati-owned BLU Pizzeriá draws its inspiration from Naples, Italy, the birthplace of the humble pizza. Founded by Emirati entrepreneur Abdelrahman Alteneiji, the concept was shaped by his travels. Alteneiji set out to create a brand that blends the warmth of tradition with a modern, local twist.
He explained: “Our goal has always been simple: serve great pizza that brings people together. With Abu Dhabi, we’re excited to share our story and create new memories with a wider community.”

While the opening date and exact location of BLU Pizzeriá in London have yet to be confirmed, the brand is also planning expansions to Los Angeles and New York. If the original menu is anything to go by, London diners are in for a treat.
BLU Pizzeriá’s wood-fired pizzas come with a variety of toppings, many of which are inspired by Middle Eastern flavours. The menu features both classic and innovative options, catering to adventurous food lovers.
The classics range from the Burrata, topped with basil and cherry tomatoes, to the Spicy Pepperoni, which features cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, and spicy salami. For something more inventive, diners can opt for the Short Ribs pizza, made with Black Angus short ribs, caramelised onions, and truffle white sauce, or the Musakhan, topped with chicken, cheese, and sour cream sauce.
