The new locations include Bloomsbury and Notting Hill.
London is already packed with brilliant dessert destinations, and now it’s about to get even sweeter. The capital is welcoming Darlish, a Persian ice cream parlour bringing a joyful burst of summer flavours to two new locations in Bloomsbury and Notting Hill.
The Notting Hill branch is set to open first this March, with the Bloomsbury site following shortly afterwards (an exact opening date is still to be confirmed). Darlish was founded by Laura Dawson, who is of Indian and Persian heritage, and the concept was born out of her frustration at not being able to find ice creams in England that reflected her cultural roots.

What began as an idea soon grew into a much-loved brand. Darlish’s first venue opened on Brushfield Street in Spitalfields, where it quickly gained a loyal following. Since then, the business has expanded beyond London with locations at Hatfield House and in St Albans.
Darlish takes its inspiration from the Middle East, offering playful and unexpected flavours that you won’t find in your average ice cream parlour. Expect combinations such as chai and biscuits; Iranian pistachio; saffron, rose and pistachio; and Turkish coffee. The standout signature is the Baklava Ice Cream Sandwich – a rich, indulgent treat that has already become a firm fan favourite.
The Notting Hill outpost is especially exciting, as it will sit directly opposite the famous Blue Door from the British romantic comedy Notting Hill. Laura says: “We’re thrilled to bring Darlish to Notting Hill and Bloomsbury Square. Sharing the flavours of my heritage and seeing the joy they bring to our customers is incredibly rewarding.”
