The La Nouvelle Garde restaurant group is behind Brasserie Olivia.

A taste of Paris is landing in London. Brasserie Olivia is scheduled to open in Sloane Square, Chelsea. Opening in spring 2026, the concept will celebrate classic French cooking.

The La Nouvelle Garde restaurant group is behind Brasserie Olivia. Charles Perez and Victor Dubillot are leading the venture, and this marks their first opening outside France. In 2019, they launched Brasserie Bellanger in Paris’ 10th arrondissement.

Brasserie Olivia

The portfolio reflects La Nouvelle Garde’s mission to protect the traditional French brasserie. Charles and Victor, who grew up visiting brasseries, consider these establishments one of the purest expressions of the French art de vivre.

Since then, the group has expanded to nine restaurants across France, including in Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, Lyon and Neuilly-sur-Seine. Each site captures the convivial spirit of gathering around a table, sharing generous plates and enjoying a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Brasserie Olivia will celebrate the spirit and warmth of France. Diners can expect comforting dishes designed to appeal to everyone. The menu will showcase home-style French cooking, with classics prepared and elevated through seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The space itself will be characterful, independent in feel and Parisian in its approach to hospitality.

Charles explained: “We established La Nouvelle Garde to preserve the French art de vivre and bring a new golden age to traditional brasseries. We’re thrilled to bring this to London with Brasserie Olivia and can’t wait to share our cuisine.”
