See in 2026 with the New Year’s Day Parade.

The London New Year’s Day Parade will take place at 1pm on 1 January 2026. Beginning at Piccadilly and ending at Westminster, the parade promises to be jam-packed with festivities, tunes and good vibes to ring in the New Year.

Dating back to 1987, the parade has taken place every year except 2021, when it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Returning for 2026, the event is expected to draw an estimated half a million people, so if you are planning to go, arrive as early as possible.

The procession will run from 1pm to 4.30pm, starting outside The Ritz London, heading into Piccadilly Circus, down Regent Street, into Pall Mall, past Trafalgar Square, along Whitehall, and ending at Westminster.

A wide range of performers, community groups and organisations will take part, including singer Heather Small, Eurovision UK contestant Sam Ryder, and tribute acts celebrating George Michael, Elton John, the Spice Girls and ABBA. Carnaval del Pueblo, which celebrates Latin American culture, will also feature.

Representatives from London boroughs, Aston Martin and Mini owners’ clubs, as well as American high school bands and cheerleading squads, will also participate. A series of warm-up concerts will take place in the run-up to New Year’s Day at Smith Square Hall and Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square.

Grab a seat along the procession route and settle in for the day to enjoy a great view of the parade in all its glory. Tickets can be booked for seating in the grandstands on Piccadilly, priced at £75 each. VIP tickets for the grandstands on Whitehall are also available, priced at £185 each.
