The capital’s botanical gardens will transform into a winter wonderland.
Christmas is always a fun time, and every year, London lights up to mark the start of the festive season. This year, the magic of the season is about to return with Christmas at Kew.
From 14 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 — and open on select dates only — Christmas at Kew will transform the iconic gardens into a winter wonderland. Happening since 2013, this UNESCO World Heritage Site will once again shine bright, promising more experiences to visitors than ever before.

The after-dark light trail transforms Kew Gardens with larger-than-life installations from international artists, many of whom are making their UK debut. It’s the perfect way to kickstart the festivities or toast the New Year with family and friends, while keeping an eye out for a glimpse of Father Christmas along the way.
Now, no Christmas at Kew would be complete without the return of favourites. The Palm House will return, showcasing Kew’s glasshouse in all its festive glory. The Temperate House light show, Fire Garden, and Christmas Cathedral will also wow crowds once again.
All the exploring is sure to build up an appetite, and you can choose from a wide selection of food and beverage spots at Kew Gardens to fuel up. They’ve got s'mores, hot chocolate, sweet treats and spiced winter warmers to indulge in. The food court by the Temperate House will be in full swing, while the Pavilion Bar & Grill welcomes walk-ins with a special seasonal menu.
Tickets to Christmas at Kew are now available, starting at £27.50 for adults. Each ticket helps protect the plants and gardens.
