The collection will be located on the second floor of the Liberty department store.
Topshop. The meeting point at Oxford Circus, the go-to destination for a Saturday shopping spree as a teenager, and the place where icons like supermodel Kate Moss launched effortlessly cool collaborations. Now, it’s back.
The great British brand, Topshop, is returning to the high street. It has been confirmed that the London department store, Liberty, is its first stockist in the United Kingdom. The Liberty edit will include hero coats, sharp tailoring, and denim favourites from the new Topshop collection. As part of the collaboration, Topshop will take over Liberty’s main atrium and feature an Insta-worthy installation. The collection itself will be located on the department store’s second floor.
Over the last few months, Topshop has been teasing its return on Instagram. Videos featured captions such as “see you soon” and “we missed you”. In August 2025, the brand made a bold statement by staging a catwalk in Trafalgar Square, right in the heart of London and with the National Portrait Gallery and a red double-decker bus serving as the backdrop.
Topshop, originally known as Top Shop, was founded in 1964 in Sheffield, United Kingdom, as an extension of the Peter Robinson department store. In the 1960s, it showcased fashion from young British designers, including Mary Quant and Stirling Cooper.
Over the years, Topshop has been part of various fashion groups, from Arcadia to Burton. The brand established its reputation by offering affordable, on-trend fashion pieces. Plus, it launched high-profile celebrity collaborations, including Beyoncé’s activewear line and Kate Moss’s collections inspired by her own wardrobe.
Happy shopping.
