The shapewear company has signed a 10-year lease on the luxurious Regent Street.

Kim Kardashian’s shapewear empire, SKIMS, is set to open its first permanent store in the UK next summer, taking over a prime location on London’s historic Regent Street. The $4 billion brand has signed a ten-year lease for SKIMS London at 245-247 Regent Street, formerly home to Ted Baker, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion.

Founded in 2019, SKIMS has rapidly evolved from an innovative shapewear label into a global fashion phenomenon. Known for its inclusive sizing and minimal, comfort-focused aesthetic, the brand has already made waves in London with pop-up shops and exclusive launches at Harrods and Selfridges. It has also featured high-profile campaigns starring British icons, including Kate Moss and Jude Bellingham.

The new 12,000-square-foot SKIMS London store will offer customers an immersive retail experience designed to reflect the Skims brand ethos. From shapewear and loungewear to apparel and accessories, the London flagship will provide the full range under one stylish roof.

The move was facilitated by The Crown Estate, which owns the majority of Regent Street. SKIMS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Robert Norton, commented: “Opening our first UK store is a landmark moment for Skims. Its global prestige and vibrant history make it the perfect setting to debut our immersive retail experience. This milestone reflects our strategic focus on expanding into key global markets, bringing Skims’ unique brand vision directly to customers worldwide.”

Laura Thursfield, Retail Leasing Director at The Crown Estate, added: “Welcoming Skims in its first foray into the U.K. bricks-and-mortar market is an exciting moment for The Crown Estate. Emphasising Regent Street’s position as London’s premier lifestyle destination, the arrival of Skims highlights the area’s sustained attractiveness for global brands. This opening will enhance the diversity of The Crown Estate’s wider retail and leisure offering, boosting both footfall and commercial activity in the West End by driving different audiences towards the world-class destination that is Regent Street.”

Fans can mark their calendars for Summer 2026, when SKIMS London, which recently announced a collaboration with Nike, officially lands in the capital.
