Shoppers can personalise their own make-up palette.


Selfridges is home to world-class fashion and beauty brands. Now, it has launched the Charms Bar in collaboration with Hourglass Cosmetics. Running throughout August, guests are invited to curate their own palette and personalise it with two magnetic charms. 

Drawing inspiration from the artistry of fine jewellery, the Ambient Lighting Edit: Charms collection includes gemstone-encrusted initials and zodiac signs. Each beautiful compact is housed in a gold tin and features a customisable lid. Choose from 48 meticulously crafted golden symbols, each made from high-quality metals and gemstones.

The charms are sold separately, allowing you to mix and match. Options include gemstone-encrusted initials, zodiac signs representing all of the cosmic symbols, talismans such as horseshoes, and nature-inspired designs like lightning bolts, moons and starfish.

Inside the artfully arranged palettes, you’ll find Hourglass’s bestselling Ambient Lighting Finishing Powders, Bronzers, Blushes, and Highlighters. The make-up is designed to soften, sculpt, and deliver the signature Hourglass glow. The Volume I palette includes a mix of peach, luminous bronze, and vibrant coral. The Volume II palette features Red 0, Solar Bronze, and Radiant Light.
