The Ari Lennox show takes place at Burgess Park in London.
The Jazz Café Festival is gradually becoming a staple in the capital's calendar. Now in its third year, it is set to welcome R&B singer Ari Lennox, who will take over Burgess Park, London on 2 August. This will be her only show in the United Kingdom in 2026.
Ari Lennox was born in Washington, DC, in the United States. She took her stage name from the fictional character Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden. Growing up, she drew inspiration from R&B icons including Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston.
In 2013, she released her debut album, Finger Discount. Her singles include Pressure, "Shea Butter Baby," and "Whipped Cream." In 2021, Pressure became her first entry into the Billboard Hot 100. She has also performed on the Dreamville compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III, which was later nominated for Best Rap Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. She has released her new album, Vacancy, and we can expect her to perform songs from it.
The full 2026 line-up is still under wraps. Previous performers at the Jazz Café Festival include Masego, Elmiene, Lex Amor and Westside Gunn. Last year’s event brought together 15,000 people in Burgess Park.
Tickets for the Jazz Café Festival will go on sale in February. Be warned: last year’s event sold out. Presale tickets start at £35, VIP presale tickets at £55, and general admission at £65.
