Catch Davido at Crystal Palace Bowl in August.

Crystal Palace Bowl has a history of welcoming amazing acts from around the world. Taking place on Friday, 14 August 2026, it has announced that it will host Afrobeats star Davido. The show is part of his world tour, 5IVE Alive, and tickets are now available.

Davido was born in Georgia, United States, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. His music combines Afrobeats, dancehall, and R&B influences. His hits include "Feel," "Offa Me," and "Unavailable." Today, he has built a strong following and has amassed more than 31 million Instagram followers.

This marks Davido’s debut at Crystal Palace Bowl. Davido & Friends celebrates his 15-year career and will include surprise guest appearances from Iyanya and Ecoool. Davido said: “London, you’ve always shown me love – now it’s time to give it back! This is 15 years in the making, and we’re celebrating in a city that’s always had my back. Let’s go.”

For those unversed, Davido — born David Adedeji Adeleke — is a Nigerian singer who has been at the forefront of the Afrobeats genre for over a decade. Davido’s tracks shook up the African music scene, and soon he caught the eye of FIFA. They then selected him to be the torchbearer of the 2022 FIFA World Cup soundtrack. He’s also a Grammy nominee with multiple wins at the BET Awards and MTV Awards.

Known for blending Afrobeats with R&B, reggaeton, and dancehall, Davido’s sound is both rooted in African culture and universally appealing. His latest album, 5IVE, features collaborations with Chris Brown, Omah Lay, and Musa Keys, and now he’s bringing that same magic to London.

Crystal Palace Bowl is more than 60 years old and has attracted big names from around the world. Bob Marley, Elton John, Elvis Costello, James Taylor, Pink Floyd, and The Cure have all performed there. This year’s line-up will welcome a range of artists – catch Grace Jones on 31 July, Tom Jones on 5 August, and Gary Numan on 6 August.
