Nooriyah heads to Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels and Paris.
Saudi Arabian star Nooriyah has announced her new European tour, Hello. The cities include Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, London and Paris. The full dates and details have not yet been revealed, but here’s what we do know.
Nooriyah will play in Brussels on 31 January at Botanique, in Paris on 6 February at Élysée Montmartre, and in Amsterdam on 14 February at Melkweg. The dates and locations for Berlin and London have not yet been confirmed.
On Instagram, Nooriyah shared a video of herself cycling across Europe. The caption reads: “I flew to five cities in two days just to tell you: new tour alert. Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels. This tour is for the people who want to come and say hello.
"These past few years have felt especially divisive in Europe, particularly in some of the cities I’m playing in on this tour. So, I named this tour Hello because, even if we say hello in different ways, we are always going to be more similar than different. I’m bringing something a little different to what you’ve seen from me before: new music, new venues, new visuals and, more importantly, more live instruments and a few surprises.”
Nooriyah is a DJ, producer and presenter. She was born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Japan, and is now based in the United Kingdom. She founded the London-based, SWANA-focused collective Middle of Nowhere, which went on to host her debut Boiler Room set – now boasting over three million streams.
