Now in its fourth edition, RnB Summer Ball takes place in June.
Get ready for the RnB Summer Ball. Taking place on 19 June at The O2, the line-up includes Jodeci, TLC and Blackstreet. If you’d like to get hold of tickets, here’s what you need to know.
The RnB Summer Ball is now in its third edition. Previous events have featured icons such as Monica, Toni Braxton, Boyz II Men, Joe, SWV, Dru Hill, Keith Sweat and TGT.
Leading this year’s line-up of RnB legends is Jodeci, returning to the UK stage for the first time in over 12 years. The group combines gospel-rooted vocals with a hip-hop edge. After a successful Las Vegas residency, they’re heading to London. Jodeci said: "We are so excited to return to London – 12 years is far too long! We’re ready to give the fans everything: the hits, the harmonies and that real Jodeci energy. RnB Summer Ball is going to be extra special."
TLC, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, will also be joining the line-up. Their albums include CrazySexyCool and FanMail, and their singles include Creep, No Scrubs and Waterfalls. TLC shared: "The UK has been rocking with TLC from day one. We can’t wait to hit The O2 stage and celebrate the music that connects us all. Get ready to sing every word!"
Blackstreet, formed by Teddy Riley, pioneered the New Jack Swing sound in the 1990s. Their album Another Level gave the world the Grammy Award-winning song No Diggity. Blackstreet added: "RnB fans know what time it is! We’re bringing those 90s vibes, the classics and that feel-good energy. London, see you this summer!"
