The Oscar-winning star is bringing his band to the capital
The countdown is on. The American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars have announced that they will be coming to London. The concert takes place at The O2 in North Greenwich on Wednesday, 28 April 2027. Tickets are on sale now, and here’s how to get your hands on them.
Billed as the A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War tour, the run will celebrate the albums A Beautiful Lie and This Is War, which remain among the band’s most recognisable releases. It is expected that both albums will be performed in full across the tour.
Thirty Seconds to Mars was formed in Los Angeles, California, and is composed of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. Jared is better known for his acting credentials, having starred in films including American Psycho and House of Gucci. In 2014, he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.
When Jared isn’t starring onscreen, he is onstage playing to adoring fans. He is the lead vocalist of Thirty Seconds to Mars and plays guitar, bass, and keyboards, while Shannon plays drums and percussion. Over the years, the line-up has changed, but the duo has been the consistent members. It has been widely reported that former guitarist Tomo Miličević is set to reunite with Jared and Shannon Leto for these dates.
Thirty Seconds to Mars is famous for its alternative rock sound. The songs include “A Beautiful Lie,” “Closer to the Edge,” and “The Kill.” The band has sold more than 15 million albums and has toured the world, headlining festivals.
London is one of 17 dates on the European schedule. The tour begins in Lisbon on 6 April 2027 before moving through Madrid, Valencia, Milan, Munich, Vienna, Krakow, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hanover, Cologne, Antwerp, Amsterdam and Paris. After the London stop, the band will continue to Manchester on 29 April before wrapping the run in Dublin on 1 May 2027.
How to get tickets
Tickets to see Thirty Seconds to Mars in London during their A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War tour will be available soon. The band’s official tour page says the artist pre-sale starts on Tuesday, 14 April, while Live Nation lists an additional presale from Thursday, 16 April 2026. General sale tickets are scheduled to go live on Friday, 17 April 2026, at 10am.
For fans who came of age with the band’s mid-2000s output, this one is set to lean heavily into nostalgia, while giving newer listeners the chance to experience two of the group’s most defining records in a live setting.
