J.I.D. has announced his God Does Like World Tours, and it’s coming to London. The show will take place at the O2 Academy Brixton on 2 April 2026. If you’d like to attend, here’s how to get hold of tickets.
Born Destin Choice Route, J.I.D. hails from Atlanta, Georgia. He is the youngest of seven children. His stage name comes from a childhood nickname given by his grandmother, who called him “jittery” due to his high-energy behaviour.
In 2010, he released his first mixtape, Cakewalk. In 2011, he followed it up with Cakewalk 2. In 2017, he released his debut album, The Never Story, which received critical acclaim and featured the single "Never." In 2018, he dropped his second album, DiCaprio 2, which included the singles "151 Rum" and "Off Deez."
Fresh off the release of his new album God Does Like Ugly, J.I.D. is taking his music across the globe with a newly announced world tour. The tour will span three continents and kicks off this October. It begins in North America before heading to the United Kingdom and Europe, followed by dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
He is bringing along a line-up of supporting acts for each leg of the journey. Young Nudy will join him for the United States shows, while Mick Jenkins will accompany him on the European leg. Rising star Jordan Ward will support him in Australia and New Zealand.
If you love live music, Vybz Kartel will play The O2 on 4 and 5 September, Post Malone will take over Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 7 September, Lil Baby will take the stage at The 02 on 27 September, and Clipse will perform at London’s O2 Forum on 9, 12, and 13 November.
Tickets to see J.I.D. live in London are available now from £47.90, while tickets for the meet and greet VIP experience cost £279.
