Everyman on the Canal includes family favourites and cult classics.
It’s time to get swept away by the beauty of cinema by the river. Everyman on the Canal is coming to Granary Square, King’s Cross. Running from 30 June to 17 August, it brings together amazing films, from old to new. Best of all, it’s free – but get there early, as spaces are limited.
Everyman on the Canal hosts family favourites, cult classics, timeless blockbusters, and recent hits. There's something for everyone to enjoy under the sun. The experience is suitable for all ages and aims to bring families and friends together.
This year, Everyman on the Canal is brought to life by the artist and designer Yinka Ilori. He was born in Islington, London, and studied at London Metropolitan University. He has created a bright, vibrant setting inspired by his British and Nigerian heritage, and aims to bring communities together.
Everyman on the Canal’s line-up includes Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Coco, Encanto, Grease, The Parent Trap, The Princess Bride, Top Gun: Maverick, and Wicked. From 12pm to 5pm, from 30 June to 13 July, it will also be screening The Championships Wimbledon presented by Rolex. And, if you want to get into the documentary spirit, there is David Attenborough: Ocean.
Everyman on the Canal’s screenings will start at 12pm, 2.30pm, 5pm, and 7pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but crowds are expected, especially on sunnier days. If you want to make a day and evening of it, drinks and snacks are available.
