First things first, the FACT Dining Awards are unique in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, London and Riyadh, as no money is exchanged. Chefs come and go, but our core belief remains the same. Restaurants do not have to pay to nominate, enter or attend the awards. The awards are free to enter, attend and, most importantly, win.
FACT's annual awards have been praised in the industry for their integrity. The awards are a trusted authority on the local dining scene.
FACT reviews share our independent experiences and are not influenced by advertisers, family or friends. The winners are chosen by our team of dedicated diners, which includes in-house staff and contributors. The local experts are on the ground each night of the week, eating their way through emerging and established cafés and restaurants.

Each category features two awards, the BEST and the FAVOURITE. The BEST is the critic’s choice, decided by the FACT editorial team and an independent panel of industry experts, whilst the FAVOURITE is determined through an online public vote.
