Sinatra the Musical will take place at Aldwych Theatre in the summer of 2026.

London is set to welcome a brand-new musical, as Sinatra the Musical takes up residence at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End. Running from 3 June 2026 until 10 April 2027, the production promises a vibrant tribute to one of America’s greatest music legends.

Born in New Jersey in 1915, Sinatra became one of the most influential entertainers of the 20th century. Known as “Ol’ Blue Eyes”, he enjoyed a career spanning over five decades, recording classics such as "My Way," "Fly Me to the Moon" and "New York, New York." Alongside his music, Sinatra was a celebrated film actor and cultural icon, winning an Academy Award and leaving a lasting legacy on popular music worldwide.

The production is led by acclaimed Broadway director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, with a book by Joe DiPietro, best known for his work on the hit musical Memphis. The musical celebrates the remarkable acting and singing career of Frank Sinatra.

Rather than a jukebox show, the production tells a biographical story rooted in a defining moment of the artist’s life. Set in 1942, the narrative captures a turning point for Sinatra, following his departure from the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.

At the time, his career appears to be losing momentum, while his marriage to Nancy Sinatra is under strain. Everything changes with a New Year’s Eve concert at New York’s Paramount Theatre, a performance that reignites his popularity and sets him on course for global stardom.

Tickets for Sinatra the Musical go on sale on Friday, 30 January. Check back with FACT for the best things to do in London.
