Donmar Warehouse will showcase new and classic works.
Lights, camera, Donmar Warehouse. The theatre has announced its 2026 season, and it will feature three world premieres and a major revival. If you’d like to get hold of tickets, here’s what you need to know.
The season opens with Mass, Fran Kranz's debut play, running from 18 April to 2 June. Directed by Carrie Cracknell, this moving new work features a stellar cast including Adeel Akhtar, Amari Bacchus, Monica Dolan, Paul Hilton, Lyndsey Marshal, Rochelle Rose and Susie Trayling.
Russell Tovey returns to the Donmar to star in The Guilty, which runs from 20 June to 15 August. The gripping new thriller is written by Chloë Moss and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett.
The season continues with a major revival of A Month in the Country by Brian Friel. Running from 22 August to 3 October 2026, it is directed by Lyndsey Turner. The production explores Turner’s relationship with Friel’s work.
The final production is the world premiere of Ilford Boy by Danny Lee Wynter. Running from 10 October to 28 November 2026, it is directed by Artistic Director Tim Sheader, and is a coming-of-age drama.

It’s a pleasure to welcome back returning artists, including Lyndsey Turner, while also introducing a number of leading directors and writers making their Donmar debuts — among them Carrie Cracknell, Felix Barrett, Fran Kranz, Chloë Moss and Danny Lee Wynter.
“As ever, the stories we tell on the Donmar stage are created to connect us all — from the intimate conversations of Mass, to the shared thrill of The Guilty, the sweep of A Month in the Country and the warmth and humour of Ilford Boy.”
