Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold opens at Battersea Power Station.

It’s time to step back in time and journey to Ancient Egypt. Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold: The Exhibition will open at NEON in Battersea Power Station in February 2026. If you'd like to get hold of tickets, they go on sale from 10 December.

The exhibition brings together 180 Egyptian treasures, combining historical artefacts with a state-of-the-art virtual reality experience. Visitors can expect to see animal mummies, amulets, carved sarcophagi, jewellery, and royal masks.

One of the highlights of Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold: The Exhibition is the original wooden coffin that once held the mummy of Ramses II. A ruler of the 19th Dynasty, Ramses II reigned for nearly 67 years. He helped shape the height of Ancient Egyptian civilisation. He became famous for his monumental building projects, military leadership, and diplomatic skill. Plus, many people believe he fathered more than 100 children.

The exhibition features objects that have never before left Egypt. Many of the artefacts come from museums and archaeological sites across the country. Plus, many objects are on loan from Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities.

Ron Tan, Group CEO of NEON, said: “At a time when the world is celebrating the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, this remarkable experience offers a timely and extraordinary journey into one of humanity’s greatest civilisations. By uniting priceless artefacts with immersive storytelling, we bring the wonder of Ancient Egypt to life as never before. As Battersea continues its cultural evolution, we look forward to welcoming London to discover the richness, legacy, and enduring fascination of Ramses the Great.”

Dr Mohamed Ismail, Minister of Antiquities of Egypt, added: “Ramses the Great was a remarkable pharaoh who helped shape Egypt’s legacy. Many of these treasured artefacts have never travelled outside the country, and London is about to witness something extraordinary. This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to come face to face with the world of Ramses in all its glory before the pieces return to Egypt and are placed in the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum.”
