The event takes place across galleries, shops and theatres.

Get ready for a dose of culture with Art After Dark. The event returns this February with a programme of evening events across the capital. If you’re keen to experience London in a new light, this after-hours celebration of creativity offers plenty of reasons to stay out late.

Presented by Art of London, the initiative showcases art in all its forms, and unfolds across theatres, shops and, of course, world-class galleries. The programme is rooted in authenticity and originality, bringing together a richly diverse cultural journey. At its heart, Art of London celebrates the transformative power of art and culture, while spotlighting the city’s role as a global epicentre of creative expression.

Art After Dark: Rise and Shine runs from 3 to 10 February, and lights up the city after sunset with a special focus on music and nightlife. Created by internationally acclaimed, London-based artist Lakwena Maciver, the project brings bold colour and energy to the streets, transforming familiar spaces into immersive cultural moments.

On 5 February 2026, PARTY After Dark at The National Gallery takes over the West End with a series of late-night events. Highlights include a one-off, after-hours DJ takeover from Bimini and Mia Lily, bringing a playful, club-inspired atmosphere to one of London’s most iconic institutions.

Meanwhile, Art After Dark: Friday Lates runs every Friday, offering the chance to explore leading galleries such as The National Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts, and the National Portrait Gallery after hours.
