The event is part of its birthday weekend.
3EIB is celebrating its second birthday. As part of the big bash, it’s hosting a fundraiser raising money for children from Gaza. Running from 20 to 21 September in Shoreditch, the events bring together culture and charity. If you’d like to take part, here’s what you need to know.
To celebrate London Fashion Week, guests can enjoy a fashion pop-up. Discover stalls, games, workshops and henna. Plus, in The Garden there is a BBQ, basketball and a laid-back zone.
On 20 September, there will be an art workshop from 2pm to 4pm, and a pop-up event from 12pm to 6pm. The theme for the day is Imagining Liberation, exploring what freedom looks like to you. The drop-in art project includes community-led installations.
Art supplies will be available on the day, so you can collage, paint and write directly onto the canvas. The aim is to create a patchwork of voices and visions, bringing together ideas of freedom. The hope is to connect people through the power of art.
On 21 September, the themes will focus on conversation, creativity, and collective release. From 1pm to 3pm, there will be a screening of a short film by Kurdish-Iraqi director Shang, followed by a reflective gathering with Hekayyatna. From 3pm to 5pm, there will be live performances and an open jam session. If you’re feeling creative and would like to sing or share, you’re welcome to join. The line-up includes Layal, Nazlee, and Vincent J.
Entry is free, but guests must RSVP for tickets. You can choose what you’d like to pay, and proceeds will support Yad Bi Yad, a free school in Cairo for displaced children from Gaza.
